Dr. Means is a St. Louis native, completing both her undergraduate and medical degrees at Washington University in St. Louis. She then moved to Dallas, completed her residency at UT-Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in 2016, and has been at Plano Women’s Healthcare ever since. She was voted in as Chief of OBGYN at Medical City Plano and served in a hospital leadership role from 2018-2022. Dr. Means is also proud to say she has been named one of D Magazine’s “Best Doctors” (2021, 2022, and 2023).
Dr. Means is known for her passion and curiosity, and focuses on her patient’s quality of life and well-being. She is well-known in the community for her focus on promoting vaginal deliveries for first-time moms, positive birth experiences, hormone balancing and optimization, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), and fertility. She is also a skilled surgeon in robotics, hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation techniques.

Dr. Means recently became a mom (as of July 2023!) after struggling with infertility and having her pregnancy affected by gestational diabetes and postpartum hemorrhage. She has compassion and loads of advice for her patients as someone who has “been through it all!”
